What an incredible turnaround for From Software. Demon Souls put them on the map and they continued to reach new heights with Bloodborne and the Dark Souls series. Hard to think this company used to be known for Enchanted Arms and Armored Core (I actually forgot the name of that series since it has fallen into irrelevance).

And still... no Demon's souls remaster. I still have faith they will release it this year as they do not have other games scheduled for 2020. Except maybe a Sekiro expansion. But a Demon's souls remaster would be like printing money. Low cost, high revenue.

Demons Souls remake is a bit complicated because I believe this title is still registered to Sony as it was a ps3 exclusive. That's why they changed the name to Dark Souls so they can make it multiplatform. So demons souls remake will either have to be ps exclusive or From Software will have to buy the licence to use that name to make multiplatform version

Now thats REALLY impressive. Im a big fan of the series and thought those games would sell only around 4-5 million units each. 10 million for DS3 is huge. I guess we dont need to make them easier to appraise journalists. The game is very successful the way it is.

Can we finally put to rest the idea that this is a niche game? Or will some people continue insisting that it is?
