The New Nintendo 2DS XL will launch on July 28.

Seems like they made a "new" different form of the DS every 3 months lol
It is worrying that they're launching new 3DS hardware after the launch of the Switch. They really need to focus on the new system, to avoid software droughts.
Its not like they could really pump out more switches though.
Plus most of the games coming out now were probably starting development around 2014. Its the same as the GBA. Its life was cut short at 4 years when most consoles last 5~6 (gen 7 was a fluke at a 7~8 year span) and so the micro and quite a few GBA games cane out after the DS.
