There have been some weird "games" made with LittleBigPlanet 2. My personal favorite was when some of the beta players made an entire operable Windows OS that even let you play multiplayer. But this... I didn't think anything like this was even possible using LBP2's tool set.
Behold: "LBP2: Epic Massive Raging Destruction," a LittleBigPlanet first-person shooter by Steve_Big_Guns, where you apparently pilot a big mech-man with a gun:
This is also, according to the video description, a mere gameplay trailer for a more elaborate "upcoming project." So wait - this is just a taste?! Consider your YouTube channel subscribed to, IndianmanTV. We'll be sure to let you readers know when this will be available for download, as well!

you downloaded a demo and say your disapointed, well isnt it obvious as you dont get the creation tools ect with the demo, im yet to get LBP2 but i found the first game refreshing and fun, plus for all those willing to call it a kiddy game, i started gaming during the 80's when pretty much every adventure game was 2d or a side scroller, games like flash back and alex kid were all the rage back then now people just forget where gaming has been and when it was most fun, now days all people want to do is frag matches online on COD and any games like LBP are considered kiddy games, if there were guns in it like in duke nukem 1,2 or 3 (yes even duke nukem was a 2d side scrolling platform game) then you wouldnt call it a kiddy game, the idea of demo's is to give a sample of what the game is like to play but LBP2's creation tools are so much more advanced than LBP1, this simple fps creation is 100% proof of that, just name 1 game that offers as much creativity as LBP2.

I bought LBP1 and stayed disapointed... download LBP2 demo and still disapointed, too heavy/slow... not fun.
You morons that are trashingi this guys work need to just delete your VGchartz accounts, seriously. Give this guy some credit, he made this in LBP2!!!!
That being said, even though it doesn't look all that fun this is still an amazing feat!

Looks amazing... but not fun.
i just love the way people are ripping into this, its not been made by a multi million dollar game studio like valve or epic games, if valve or epic had a go at using LBP2's game creation tools dont you think things like lighting and smoothness would be 10 times better.
i think some people are just envious that 1 guy can actually use a platform game with some astounding tools to create an fps like this by him self and even if there were others that helped its not like they have extreamly complex and expencive game development pc's at their disposal is it now, all i can say is to all the haters why dont you try to make a better fps using LBP2.

I seriously CAN'T believe people criticising this! This is F-ing amazing considering it is done in LBP2 level editor! It just shows that basically ANYTHING can be made with it! You could literally make anything you can imagine if you have some time on your hands!
AMAZING! I think I will have to pick up Little Big Planet 2 after Sony will give me Little Big Planet 1 (and few other games) for free!
Horrible and Sucky. I have seen and played better FPS games on Windows 95. Not being sarcastic here im dead serious.

@binary solo Ok point out the funny and quirky elements in this. That would prove your point and not just make you an overzealous LBP fan. This is simply the same as a bad 90s shooter with horrendously clunky gameplay there's no satire, commentary, nothing.

That lighting is really annoying the heck out of me.
Why wouldn't we believe this was done in LBP? the fact it was made with LBP is its only redeeming characteristic, apart from that it looks like one of the cheap knock off FPS's of the 90's.
A little more work on the stability and they can do as an Add-On to official release and FPS.
Looks cool, would be a fun 2 minute level. There's tons of great 2 minute levels which would be crap as full games. I don't know why people make such a ridiculous comparison. The fun of LBP2 isn't in creating 8 hour games that play like clunky version of purpose built games. The fun is in creating and playing short levels that emulate some of your favourite game genres with some quirky and funny elements. But I guess people who want to spew hate will always find a way.

i think it was well made for a simple demo or gameplaytrailer of something bigger. long story short count me in.
It's very impressive that it's created in LBP2, as a game, however, it looks bad, imo.
This will be a game that is cool to look at but plays like crap. Visually this is really impressive considering he is using LBP2 but the gameplay looks pretty bad.

I wouldn't play that but it's pretty impressive for what it is. Someone should give that guy a job.
I'm sure that took a lot of time and effort however it still looks horrendously bad. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Why build a bad Fps in LBP when you could mod an existing FPS to be a good one?

Impressive if so, otherwise it's simply a mod ala PC games. (What is referred to as a "total conversion mod", actually)
that is very very very amazing. My whole problem with littlebigplanet though is though these unique levels are extremely awsome, many of them just aren't that fun to play. If your a person making these types of levels than you are probably having a blast and feeling great making them, but just playing other people's work and making half ass levels yourself like most people do just isn't fun.
wow a moddable engine that got modded.... I'm sorry but that was a mess ^^.
Interesting to see that the game gives you the tools to mod it that much but besides that... meh...
