Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Announcement at GamesCom

Even though Capcom have said that they won't have a booth at this year's GamesCom, Ryota Niitsuma, the producer and so-called "total director" of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 had something to say on his developer's blog.
After summarizing everything that went on for them at Comic-Con, he said that despite not having a booth at GamesCom, he'd really like to make some form of announcement. "So look forward to it." It appears that we might be in store for even more new characters during Gamescom, which takes place between August 18-22 in Cologne, Germany. Any particular requests?
Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is currently set to release in the spring of 2011.
