Here is an overview of the game:
When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter Amanda she would return home for her 11th birthday. Amanda never saw her again. Fifteen years later, Amanda, now a Weyland-Yutani employee, hears that the flight recorder of her mother’s ship, the Nostromo, has been recovered at the remote trading station Sevastopol. When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong: it all seems to be connected to an unknown menace, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.
Alien: Isolation is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC.

Not a lot is needed to run this game at 1080p 60fps on PC.. Gonna be one of the more interesting games to see on switch. If i remember correctly, PS3 and X360 ran at 30fps at 720p (had a lot of fps drops, down to the low 20s) Might be possible to see 720p handheld on Switch, that'd be pretty great.
My first assumption is they will port the 7th gen version with improved resolution. However, porting the next gen version is also feasible. Maybe they will use the PC version and tweak the settings as needed.
I'm always curious to see how its done given there are various ways to go.
Great game, enjoy it Nintendo gamers... but on my opinion this will be better enjoyed on dock because of the thriller element.
The "Not actual gameplay" tag worries me a bit, though. We ought to see a performance test of this in action.
I wouldn't be concerned myself. The game ran pretty well on the PS3 so this one should work well on the Switch as well.
