December 2018 is the 62nd month of the Xbox One being on sale. In the latest month the gap grew in favor of the Xbox 360 by 1.31 million units when compared to the Xbox One when you align the launches of the two consoles. In the last 12 months the Xbox 360 has grown its lead by 2.69 million units. The Xbox 360 currently leads by 636,358 million.
Both consoles launched in November. The Xbox 360 launched in November 2005, while the Xbox One launched in November 2013. The Xbox One has sold 24.59 million units, while its predecessor the Xbox 360 sold 25.23 million units.

Kinect war mode activated
Oh yeah, this would hae been around late 2010 for the 360. Seeing how that was when Kinect was launched (with more success than the X1 version), this would be a good time for the 360. And in 2011, the 360 actually had more sales year over year, thanks to a combination of Kinect, big multiplatform games, Gears of War 3, and new hardware configurations.
