Rocket League Physical Sales Top 1 Million Units Sold - News

Psyonix announced the physical release of Rocket League has sold more than one million units worldwide.

The digital version of the game is where the game has sold best with over 9.5 million units sold on Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

Psyonix revealed the majority of the retail sales are new to the game and aren't existing fans that want a physical copy.

"How do we know? Because post-launch we can track new accounts and compare those against both physical and digital sales and the math of it all says that it's mostly a new audience," said Psyonix VP of publishing Jeremy Dunham.
