Bandai Namco announced two guest characters will be added to the Tekken 7 lineup through DLC.

Each guest character will come with special costumes and a special stage. They will be released in Winter 2018 and Spring 2018.

The guest characters will be part of the Season Pass, however, they can also be purchased individually.

Tekken 7 launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on June 2.

As long real Tekken characters will be added for free, then it's an excellent idea to add guest characters as dlcs.

Winter 2018? That a typo? Eitherway, sounds good, DLC should be special, wonder who though. The weird thing would be if they put someone like Lei Wulong in DLC.
