Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, the companion film to Final Fantasy XV, has received a new trailer.

You can check it out below:

"The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the sacred Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis of Lucis (Sean Bean) commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, Nyx (Aaron Paul) and his fellow soldiers fight to protect Lucis.

As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum – to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae (Lena Headey), captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to the empire’s rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination."

Kingsglaive Final Fantasy is set to have a limited theatrical release in the United States starting on August 19th, with a digital release to follow on August 30th. Blu-Ray and DVD copies will be available starting on October 4th.

Looks incredible! Still a little worried about the lip-synching though.

The thing I'm most worried about is the overall plot. If it's compelling enough to launch us into FF15, then the next thing would be the execution of scenes on the more local level.

For me, if lip-syncing is the worst/only problem with this, I'll be glad. (:

Well since it's already out in Japan we have many impressions and they're really positive so I'm not too worried about the plot at this point.

Really hyped up for the final fantasy XV experience now. This movie looks awesome and seems like it's had a big budget, I just hope it's at a cinema in my city. There's around 6 cinemas in my city so hopefully one of them show it?
