"We understand that this news is disappointing," said Murray. "Making this game is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, but we are so close now, and we’re prepared to make the tough choices to get it right.
"The universe of No Man’s Sky is incredibly vast. More than you can imagine. This is a type of game that hasn’t been attempted before, by a smaller team than anyone would expect, under an intense amount of expectation.
"And despite all of that, development is genuinely going well. This is the hardest working, most talented team I’ve ever worked with, and I’m so proud of what we’re doing. For all our sakes though, we get one shot to make this game and we can’t mess it up."

Why would people send death threats? Are gamers so impatient that we now celebrate bug-infested games such as Ass creed, but will go bonkers over people wanting to polish a game? Personally, I'm, glad they chose to delay it instead of releasing the game with glitches and bugs.
Don't really care TBH. Im waiting for the reviews and player feedback first, before even trying this one out.
Good news, I hate when companies release a game full of bugs. Delay is always best if the game isn't ready.
Sweet. Just in time for my birthday!
Fine by me that they pushed it back. I'd rather that they give us their finished vision of the game, rather than releasing a broken and buggy mess. I've had the collector's edition pre-ordered for a while now, so what's another 2 months? Time to get caught up on my small backlog.
It is only for 2 months and ghe people show again how stupid they can be
Not even 2 months. Just 1.5 months. I don't get why people are flipping out either.
