Rumor: Horizon: Zero Dawn Delayed to Early 2017

Rumor: Horizon: Zero Dawn Delayed to Early 2017 - News

by William D'Angelo , posted on 22 April 2016 / 7,661 Views

Internet source, Shinobi602, has tweeted the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn has been delayed until early 2017.

Shinobi602 has a decent track record revealing the Quantum Break delay and the name for Halo 5: Guardians. However, this should be taken as a rumor until confirmed by Sony.

When an entire year goes by with zero new information beyond the initial reveal, I generally think it's going to get delayed.

Sony really wants me to finish my backlog apparently.

You say that like this isn't already Sony's biggest year of the generation.

I think any year with Uncharted 4 is by default Sony's biggest year.

At least you can get the NEO version without regret or anger.

I love how to get the whole gaming comunity excited it only took to make mecha dinosaurs and now everybody is complaining about a possible delay when it was highly anticipable...

Would not suprise me, but would be for the best. Really don't want it rushed anyway. Too much potential.

I find it hard ot understand how a game that never had a release date can be delayed, but whatever.

"Going to look splendid on ps4k though"

Might want to choose your words more carefully there, shinobi602.

Better delayed than rushed

All the news we've had about PS4K have had "rumour" with it so nobody actually knew whether the whole PS4K thing was real, this comment from Guerilla pretty much confirms its real and happening.

With how stacked this year is, I'm actually glad it is. Now for some E3 exposure!

This is typical Sony strategy. Announce games at E3 to get everyone super hype and buying consoles, then the game doesn't actually come out for 3-5 years (or more, in the case of Last Guardian.) They've been doing this the last decade, people should probably be used to it by now.
