Sony's Santa Monica Studio has teased a new game on Twitter in the form of a GIF.

The studio is best known for developing the God of War series, however the GIF doesn't appear to be related to the franchise in any way.
Expect the game to be revealed at the PlayStation Experience 2015 event later this month.

We all know they are working on GoW4. Lets not beat around the bush.
The GIF is not related to their next title. They are advertising the slogan "Take a Step".
This could mean that they are ready to move forward and focus on a new project. This project I'm almost sure is nothing remotely similar to God of War. Chances are, its their response to Guerrilla's Horizon Zero Dawn.
I really like your thinking on this. I was sure that it wasn't GoW related either, but I didn't perceive the .gif they provided like that.
Wasn't God of War IV teased a couple days ago ? Since this clearly isn't related to it is it possible that they let someone else do GoW4 ?
Exactly my thoughts. They are stepping out of their comfort zone. A new franchise is about to be announced. GOW will either be placed on hiatus or handed to another studio. By the way, From Software will make a perfect candidate to handle the God of War franchise.
Don't think it's Sly Cooper, Shu has already said that Sucker Punch are working on 'something'
So i'm guessing this is something new all together?
