Borderlands is coming to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility when it launches this November, Microsoft has announced. The game is also available from today in the Preview program.

"We are proud to support Xbox One Backward Compatibility by bringing the complete, original Borderlands to Xbox One, including all downloadable content," said 2K President Christoph Hartmann. "We know many of our fans have put in dozens, even hundreds, of hours exploring the world of Pandora on their Xbox 360, and now they can continue their adventures on Xbox One."

More than 100 Xbox 360 titles will be available to play on the Xbox One when the service launches this November.

See, this is the problem with gradual release b/c. You have to announce old games that have not received any sort of tweak and it's impossible for anyone to get excited. Halo has had the remaster/remake treatment with MCC so any b/c for that has no interest value. There is essentially nothing else to get excited about for b/c since Gears has already been announced. The same can be said about PSNow, but Sony can basically push a button and immediately dump 20 games into PSNow which at least can generate something slightly more more than a collective shrug of the shoulders.
