Red Ash Kickstarter Adds PS4 Stretch Goal, Currently Well Short of Funding Target

Red Ash Kickstarter Adds PS4 Stretch Goal, Currently Well Short of Funding Target - News

A PlayStation 4 stretch goal has been added to Kenji Inafune’s latest Kickstarter venture - Red Ash: The Indelible Legend - which is a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends.

The PlayStation 4 stretch goal is $1 million, however with just 9 days left to go before the Kickstarter ends, the campaign as a whole has raised just $465,000. It needs to raise $800,000 to be successfully funded, and an additional $200,000 on top of that to make its way to the PlayStation 4, so unless something drastic changes in the last few days things aren't looking good for Red Ash.

An honest opinion and perhaps the fact for as long as i play games. Ever since internet and the new generation kids came into play ive seen complains for nothing. This game is a mm legends spiritual succesor. If u want to support that. Cool man. The behaviour is very well known ive seen this repeating. Everyone was complaining when sega made real games. And when it was there no one bought it. And then whe' sega died you hear the complainers turning into retro nostalgic hypocrites saying: oooooh why did that game flop? But u were the reason. These complains went tona level that nowadays all we have is fps. Fpsrpg. Fpmmo. Fpfpfpfpfp. U know why? Cause all we do is complain. We are stigmatising the industry. And then u guys cry why there are no more games. Kinda silly huh? Crying over 60fps 1080p. Crying over glitches and bugs and bring things out of proportion. Red ash suffers this. And while i do not kickstart this. But i do at least admire the innovation. U know what imma pledge this. Complaining is a right. But complaining just because isnt. Sorry to say. Complain about something that isnt there yet is seriously retarted. Recognize that

Glitches and bugs should be criticised, and heavily, since some of the big guys have a terrible record of releasing buggy, glitchy games. Other than that, your post is not bad.

You complainers are pathetic. "Eh, this is all Inafune's fault. Blah blah blah." No, it's all gamers fault for not being interested. It's gamers faults for assuming game developers have secret stashes of millions lying around. If a million fans would simply pledge ONE DOLLAR, this would make it but, it won't because people would rather complain about games on the internet than help make them better.

People learned their lesson with Mighty No.9, this is not getting funded.

What happened with Mighty No. 9? I didn't hear anything, so can you please explain it to me?

Why did Inafune announce his next project? MN9 hasn't even released, just wait to earn a bit of consumer trust before starting a new game.

This should have been funded from day one as a 3ds game.

It is a shame but seriously, Inafune should have known that putting out another kickstarter so soon after Bloodstain was a success, along with Shen Mue 3 being announced and even before the release of Mighty No. 9 would be difficult if not impossible.

Sadly once again it looks like Mega Man Legend fans will be left out in the dark.

Yeah, i'm pissed that those of us who Kickstarted it, can't upgrade to the physical copy of MN9.

A publisher should pick this up and fund it.

This is the sort of thing Nintendo should be jumping on for their exclusives. Remember back when NES and SNES were the home of a lot of great IPs? Bringing back "Mega Man" spiritually to Wii U and 3DS is the type of thing that could get them attention.

This game is never getting funded. Too bad.
