USA Preorders Chart, 11 April - Mortal Kombat X - Sales

Overview
There are two games in the top 40 that are in their final weeks (week ending April 4): Mortal Kombat X for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Grand Theft Auto V for the PC.
Two games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top nine all have 100,000 or more pre-orders, up from seven last week. Three games added 20,000 or more pre-orders, down from four last week, and seven added 10,000 or more, down from eight last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Mortal Kombat X (PS4) added 13,615 pre-orders for a grand total of 190,817. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 250,000 to 300,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 1 million units and 1.5 million units lifetime in the US at retail.
Mortal Kombat X (XOne) added 5,719 pre-orders for a final total of 92,093. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 125,000 to 175,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 units and 750,000 units lifetime in the US at retail.
Grand Theft Auto V (PC) added 6,065 pre-orders for a final total of 68,582. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 100,000 to 150,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 units and 750,000 units lifetime in the US at retail.
Other Hot Games – In Order of Release
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PS4) added 10,063 pre-orders, down from 10,605 last week, for a total of 164,311. The Xbox One version added 6,470 pre-orders, down from 6,819 last week, for a total of 96,016. The PC version added 2,224 pre-orders, down from 2,371 last week, for a total of 75,984.
Batman Arkham Knight (PS4) added 20,851 pre-orders, down from 21,975 last week, for a total of 241,777. The Xbox One version added 5,759 pre-orders, down from 6,069 last week, for a total of 106,584. The PC version added 2,270 pre-orders, down from 2,394 last week, for a total of 27,959.
Notable mentions: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (XOne) added 85,000 pre-orders for a total of 174,584. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (PS4) added 58,878 pre-orders for a total of 120,930.
