Frank Gibeau, Electronic Arts' Mobile Executive, has left the company. The Mobile division will now report directly to CEO Andrew Wilson.

"Throughout a more than 20-year career, Frank's made many significant contributions to the company, our people and our games," said Wilson. "Most recently, he's worked to strengthen EA Mobile by building a great team. We'd like to thank Frank for his achievements at EA, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter."

Gibeau spent more than 23 years working at Electronic Arts before working his way up to Mobile Executive.

This guy used to be one of the big 3 people at EA, running the mobile division must of been a painful demotion. I suspect the conversation was as follows.

"Basically Frank, you're not making us as much money as King. It's not about games here at EA, it's all about money, especially with microtransactions...so we're not firing you mate, we're letting you retire...to another company"

In all seriousness one of their other old guard left about a month ago. I wonder if their new CEO is doing some serious spring cleaning. Will Peter Moore be next for the firing squad?
