League of Legends Adds 6 vs 6 "Hexakill" Mode Next Week - News
by Brent Galietti , posted on 14 February 2014 / 2,528 ViewsPopular MOBA and e-Sports sensation League of Legends is set to add a new 6 vs 6 mode called "Hexakill" on February 20th. The Hexakill mode will be a Featured Gameplay mode, which is a temporary addition to the game that serves as a change of pace from standard play.
Hexakill plays like the normal 5 v 5 match, but each team gets an extra player. With an extra player, a team's strategies will have to adjust based on who joins them and who the other team has added to their roster. (It might also reduce argument over who takes what lanes, as top, middle and bottom lanes can now be split evenly among the six players.)
Could Hexakill be the future of League of Legends e-Sports play? The more the merrier, right?
