Ps3 sales seem prety steady over the last 10 weeks

That's actually not so bad

Reach and Kinect will give 360 the top spot back for a few weeks when they hit, but once the holidays start Wii will reclaim a consistent #1 through the usual holiday boost in conjunction with Wii Party/Donkey Kong/Kirby.

@WiiFan

You should look at the pre-order numbers. Other M ended with a pre-order number around 150K. Wii games if you look at the pattern usually sell 1.2X that number in their FW sales. So I expected FW sales to be around 180K-200K which is in line with what VGC has for the game. What was a pleasant suprise is the fact Other M sold more than Corruption the FW in Japan. I expected 25K-34K in that region; thought Others let me down a bit since I expected 34k-40K in that region as well!!

go Metroid...go Metroid GO!!! Really happy with Other M sales as this is probably my favorite Metroid game since the original Prime by Retro!!! So far Other M is above my expectations in sales for the game. Hopefully it will beat my expected LTD of 800K worldwide; but knowing Wii games and the piracy issue one can never be too sure!

I'm really surprised to see Other M not sell more in America. I haven't got my copy yet but it's been a while since I've bought a game on release day. Price drops are so quick, I may wait another week or two. Plenty to play and stay busy with for now. Can't wait for the crazy holiday numbers to start up again. New Carnival games can battle it out this season on PS3 and Wii. The boards should light up like crazy with shovel ware to come on all consoles this holiday.

Yep. The wii is climbing the holiday salesmountain. Will it top the XBox360?

360 still sold more in Europe and USA, it's just Japan that made the difference. You can say Xbox has 2 regions and Wii and PS3 have 3 regions. DAMN YOU JAPS!!!

Wii will lose next week due to Halo Reach and most likely a few weeks after that.

The holidays will be a battle between the Wii and 360 and I believe Kinect really looks like it is going to sell and take off while Move will not. Should be an interesting holiday coming up.

I wish we could still view charts like that on this site. But yeah, this is probably the only time I'll ever say that the Wii is only temporarily on top, as Reach launches next week (two weeks in terms of chart dates here). It's pretty surprising.
