You heard it here first: This game will be delayed until holiday 2024.
I have no hard evidence for this at all. I'm just playing the odds.
I think it's reasonable for it to come out in early 2024. It will have been 4 years by then.
Sure it is reasonable. But, qlmost every major game that we hear about well before launch gets delayed.
I legit just want to see the golden saucer in this re imagining of FF7.
2 PS5 Discs they hold 100GB so its going to take up alot of that internal space so best grab a SSD i got one on a black friday sale :)
Two disks? Thank the heavens for Digital
Yeah, but you still know that it's going to be over 100gb before whatever updates they have. So I'd imagine it ends up being 150 gigabytes plus.
I know, but this multi disk thing is such a 90s era. Rather just install the game whenever with one simple download than switching up 2 disks aswell as any online data needed.
you can probably install the game on one disc, and switch later
If it's like VII Remake you don't need to switch discs at all.
2 discs most definitely means 200+ gigs of data. So I don't think you win anything by going digital, unless you count not switching discs as a win haha
Well, not switching discs is one of the biggest appeals of digital, at least for some people.
Fck yes let's go!
The website of Rebirth list PS4 too but seems to be a typo
Are all the cinematics gonna be on disc 1 and the actual game is gonna be on disc 2, and you'll have to constantly be swapping them out like the olden days? lol
You must be joking, right.
Sarcastic, yes lol
You got me there! Nice one.
If it's really two disks in this day in age that's a big ass game. Early 2024 is good, PS5 already has Final Fantasy XVI and Spiderman 2 for this year. Spread it out so they all have their proper time in the spotlight.
Bugenhagen but no Cid or Vincent, 2 games in and we are barely covering a 3rd of the story... sorry, forgot, this isn't FF7.
Its just a trailer , let them take their time hyping the game
Yeah, the first game had sooooooo much filler since it's only covering the first third of the game. It was painful lol
The game had 8's across the board. It was anything but painful. People loved it. On steam it has a 9/10. I don't care how long it takes them to finish the story as long as they keep providing great characters, story and combat.
That’s all well and good but even in those 8’s were complaints that the story was stretched insanely thin. Also some of the worst side quests I’ve seen in a game in a while. But now since they’re branching out even further with the story, hopefully they’ll be able to resolve those issues.
ya I really don't like the new content they added to the Midgar section at all. It's such a small part of the original game and they really stretched it.
By the end of the Remake I was just wishing it ended already lmao. I'm kinda sure this one will be a lot better because I think it will cover a bigger part of the original game. Or so I hope.
The whole time travel thing is awful though. Really dumb idea.
No complaints about the gameplay/combat, it was very good. Infact if it was that gameplay on a new set of characters and story in a new world, a new FF game, it might have been received by people like me very well. But 8s and 9s are bad when the original got 10s. The story was mostly filler, plot changes all over the place and god know what the ending was on about.
It’s the first actual trailer. For once was a teaser. They’re going to reveal more about the game over the next few months.
And no, this is not FFVII. This is FF VII Remake, Rebirth, and whatever the third part will be called.
A reimagining of the OG, that gets fans hastily concluding it’s somehow something else, because they go for their made-up fan-fictions over using the OG to figure out how they’re fleshing out its storytelling elements in the sequel.
Basically, Jenova is so far playing mind-tricks on the players and gaslighting them, and those like you are eating in the palm of her hand.
They said they're making it a trilogy. Obviously this is continuing the story.
I wasn't sure if this was the part 2 of the remake, or a spin off or something else. I could only hear the audio
