Here is an overview of the games:

Iris Fall

Enter the dreamlike, stunningly designed world of puzzles and adventure. Play as young Iris who follows a mysterious black cat into a labyrinthian world of light and dark. The deeper Iris delves, the more she will realize that everything holds some kind of connection to her. Clever mechanics and challenging puzzles combined with a unique monochrome look and spectacular soundtrack all help lead to a wonderful adventure.

Autonauts

The world is yours for the building! Find uninhabited planets and transform them. Starting with the absolute basics of harvesting sticks and stones, you’ll begin your foundation. Eventually, you can move up to building workerbots, who in turn can help you build more after you hone their artificial intelligence. Teach them to fish, harvest, cook, tailor, and more. Before you know it, you can create Folk who will need your assistance to survive. This is an adorably designed sim game that is open-ended and provides tons of fun challenges for you to master. Set the world in motion through automation.

You know a service is dead when the majority of months, you've never even heard of the free games being offered lol

Sure hidden gems do exist but basing an entire service on them is a pretty poor business decision.

I don't think they're basing the service on the free games anymore. They haven't been relying on free games in a few years, at least. At this point, I think that only reason that the games are in there is because they do not want to remove features from the service as consumers might then demand a lower price.

True but they might also demand a lower price because the quality of games has dropped.

Yeah, the games are crap. I used to get most of them. But I stopped even paying attention a few years ago. There was like a one-year period where I didn't care about any games, and then I just stop paying attention.

Same. Game Pass has clearly been their priority since it launched.

Gold has been irrelevant since gamepass was created. You are no longer paying for gold. Its part of gamepass now

I get that but it shouldn't still exist if they're going to put zero money or effort into it.

It's free games. Must be a first world problem when we complain about being given free ganes to play

They are definitely not free games. Everyone is paying for it.

Also, it's important to note that there are still subscribers to gold that do not subscribe to Game pass. I'm not one of those people, but there are quite a few of them.

Being bundled with a service doesn't make them free so complaints are reasonable.

I looked at the trailers for both, neither seem to do it for me.
