Microsoft has announced the Xbox Live Games with Gold for July 2022. Two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games will be free to download next month.

Here is the list of Games with Gold:

  • Beasts of Maravilla Island ($9.99 ERP): Available July 1 to 31
  • Relicta ($19.99 ERP): Available July 16 to August 15
  • Thrillville: Off the Rails ($9.99 ERP): Available July 1 to 15
  • Torchlight ($14.99 ERP): Available July 16 to 31

Here is an overview of the games:

Beasts of Maravilla Island

Unlock the wonder by taking pictures of the elusive and beautiful creatures on a mysterious, dreamlike island. Explore a 3D jungle teeming with unusual and playful life. Climb, explore, and solve puzzles. Use your grandfather’s journals and his trusty old camera to snap pics of otter-crocodiles, birds disguised as bananas, and much more. It’s up to you and your photographer’s eye to help share Maravilla’s magic with the world.

Relicta

Play as a physicist stranded on an eerie derelict moon base. Find your way by bending gravity and magnetism to your will. Buried in the darkness of the lunar craters is a secret that might claim your daughter’s life or change the fate of humanity forever. Solve puzzles in a game where every corner holds a mystery and each step is a challenge.

Thrillville: Off the Rails

Design and run your own theme park! With five new parks and 100 new missions, you’ll need an all-day pass to enjoy this much fun. The best part about creating crazy rollercoaster rides is you get to ride them as many times as you want.

Torchlight

Hack and slash your way through dungeons galore. Choose from among three character classes as you roam from the center and safety of the town of Torchlight into randomly generated dungeons to battle hordes of monsters and collect lots of loot. You’ll have a trusty animal companion at your side as you take on main quests, side quests, battle big bosses, and chat with the denizens of town.

Amazing how that bothers someone who doesn't game on Xbox?

Have I said I'm bothered? And will you look yourself on the mirror, you comment in most of the PS threads and news with negative remarks.

Its obvious. Claiming something is underwhelming on a platform you dont use.
I also use a PS5.

Sure we believe you. It must be a torture for you.
It is underwhelming because of the games offered not because of the platform where they are offered on.

3 out of 4 of these games listed i havnt played.
Weather the output is good or bad, makes no difference to you as you dont use an Xbox.

If you arent bothered, why are you even here commenting?

I'm replying to you that had the need to come defend a comment that the games are underwhelming with a personal attack. Are those games factually overwhelming? You not having them is meaningless. There are thousand of games on the platform that you don't own. Saying that the games being bad doesn't matter since you don't own them is kind odd.

Its crazy that someone who doesn't own an Xbox wants to dictate whats worthy and not worthy. Again why does someone care about games behind a paywall that they aren't subscribed or even own the platform for???

To me, i think the lineup is okay because 3/4 of them i haven't played. Does that upset you knowing i am not bothered by the offerings?

I think I'm very far from a dictator, and a game can be seem as underwhelming independent of platform. But sure defend all you want just because it is on Xbox. I'm not upset you are pleased with the titles, but you seem truly pissed someone isn't applauding this offer.

No one is asking you to applaud it Don.

Obviously you seem to be the one who’s triggered. It’s common known that Games with Hold has been underwhelming for a very long time!!!!

And I got that reply like once or twice, that since GP started GwG have been underwhelming most of the time. Sure they are free and will please some players, but there is no need to defend when they are underwhelming.
Several months PS+ had poor/weak games and I have complained about the choice over there.

It must be three or four years since I last cared about a game offered on Games with Gold. I feel like they should just do away with it at this point.
