Digital Foundry Releases Hands-On Video of Forza Horizon 5 Running on Xbox Series X|S - News

Digital Foundry has released a hands-on video of the upcoming racing game, Forza Horizon 5, running on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.

Performance and Quality modes are tested on both consoles in a preview of the first hour of the game. Performance mode runs at 60 FPS on both consoles, while Quality mode runs at 30 FPS. The game also runs at 4K resolution on the Xbox Series X and 1080p on the Xbox Series S.

Forza Horizon 5 will launch for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on November 9.

The 30fps version looks like absolute dream. Not been a driving fan since NFS Undersground but I'd give this a spin

Looks good. Although I'm not sure why DF thinks the Xbox One is gonna struggle with this game, nothing about it really screams next gen to me.

It wont struggle, it will just be downgraded to fit

I think it does in some areas but not a lot either. I'll be holding final judgement until it's on screen in front of me.

That's kind of the problem. Playground smash it out of the park with each instalment, each time raising the bar.

It just shows that FH5 can work just as well with of course obvious drawbacks.
