
Halo Infinite Launches December 8, Gets Multiplayer Cinematic Intro - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 25 August 2021 / 2,022 ViewsFollowing a leak earlier today, 343 Industries announced Halo Infinite will launch on December 8 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
Along with a release date, the developer has released a cinematic introduction video to the first season of the free-to-play multiplayer, which can be viewed below:
Microsoft also announced a Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox Series X console and Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller.

Here is an overview of Season 1 of the multiplayer:

Now let's just hope they stick to that date. Truth be told, I don't see any reason why we will see another delay. December is just around the corner so I think the team is more than assured it will launch on time.

Wow it didn't take long for them to confirm that launch date lol too bad it was leaked but at least it's official now!
I think we can safely say that the rumors about development of the campaign being in rough shape are true. If they were in good shape, they would hit the late November window, where they have few big games to compete with, and they could get the Black Friday sales.
I thought online was going to be free-to-play? Did I miss something?
