Developer CD Projekt RED announced Cyberpunk 2077 is once again available to purchase on the PlayStation Store. The game was delisted back in December 2020.

"Cyberpunk 2077 makes its return to the PlayStation Store and is now available worldwide," said CD Projekt RED.

"You can play the game on PlayStation 4 Pro and PlayStation 5. Additionally, a free next gen upgrade will be available for all owners of the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 in the second half of 2021. The upgrade will allow the title to take full advantage of the new console’s more powerful hardware.

"Users may continue to experience some performance issues with the PS4 edition while we continue to improve stability across all platforms. The PS4 Pro and PS5 versions of the game will provide the best experience on PlayStation."

Cyberpunk 2077 is available now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via SteamEpic Games, and GOG, and Google Stadia. A next-gen upgrade for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 will launch in the second half of 2021.

The game actually runs really well on base PS4 now. A fairly stable 30 fps, average dips for an open world game. The only platform with bad performance at this point is base Xbox One and I doubt that will change.

Laughable,
The most "anticipated" trash of the year haha.

So, uh, no regular PS4 then? If this is correct, is this the first game to not support the regular PS4?

It's also available on the base PS4 now but it still runs poorly so they don't recommend that version.

Ah, I see.

I'm curious to see it on the base PS4 now. It can't be great if they're not recommending it lol

It's going to be interesting to see how the game's sales go in the PS systems after the return of Cyberpunk to the store.

Slow. The hype is gone. Almost everyone with a Pro or PS5 that was interested in the game has played it by now. The people that skipped it because they only had a base PS4 still aren't gonna buy it cuz CDPR is telling them it sucks.

I would'nt say everyone or most. A lot of people like me are waiting for the ps5 version.

Ditto, I want to play the game eventually. But it will be the next gen port at a discounted price and hopefully after significant bug fixes.

I'm having my doubt about the game though. Alot of people are telling me shallow experience, poor ai and gameplay that's been done already or done better. Can anyone confirm if the gameplay is unique, besides the dazzling environe, nts

I wouldn't call it particularly unique gameplay. But, I do think it is a good game. It is definitely worth playing.
