Nintendo originally released Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U in November 2013 and will be re-releasing the game next month for the Nintendo Switch with extra content.

The official Nintendo UK site has revealed the re-release of the game will feature faster movement than the original game. Characters more run faster and climb higher after up a Super Bell.

"As an enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World, some brand new gameplay improvements have been made to spice up this adventure," reads the Nintendo UK site.

"All characters have received a boost to their running speed and climb even higher after picking up a Super Bell, making platforming that little bit snappier."

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will launch for the Nintendo Switch on February 12.

Can’t wait for this. In my book, this one is more fun than Odyssey. If they’ve improved it over the original release, this might end up becoming my favourite 3D Mario game!

Loved it on Wii U and I already knew I had to play it again. Bowser's Fury first though.

Playing as Blue Toad is going to feel closer to playing a Sonic game if that's the case.

I like to more run faster too.

Keen for this, have it pre-ordered.. Enjoyed the WiiU version too.

Didn't like the game on wiiU. For me it was the least ambitious 3D mario game with poor ideas behind.
The additionnal content however, looks extremely promising. Had it been seperately downloadable, i would have bought it with no doubt. But paying 60€ just to get that interesting part of a whole game. It's a no for me (in addition to the fact that i won't support ports no matter what, for them being lazy work with extra profit especially when we are talking about Nintendo).
