No Plans to Release Wolfenstein: The New Order on Switch - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 09 August 2018 / 3,134 ViewsWolfenstein II: The New Colossus launched in October 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC and will be launching on the Nintendo Switch on June 29.
Developer Panic Button is working on the Switch port of the game and was asked if the predecessor, Wolfenstein: The New Order, will also be ported.

"That's a Bethesda discussion, honestly," said Creighton when asked about releasing Wolfenstein: The New Order on the Switch. "It's [up to] them and Nintendo as to what would work for the platform," Creighton said. "I think it'll be interesting to see how [The New Colossus is] received right after it launches at the end of the month and what Bethesda does from there."
"Not currently," he added to confirm that there were plans for aport. "Not that I know of, but Bethesda may have other plans. And we on the Panic Button side are totally up for anything."

Nintendo consoles not getting third party games? The shock!
This is a game from 2014 released 3 years before the Switch, it is about as shocking to not find on the system as Destiny 1 or Final Fantasy 13-3 which were also releasing that year.
People are getting Happy about Skyrim, a 7 year old game that is ported to pretty much everything. In 1 or 2 more years, my Smart Fridge might get a port of it.
Skyrim when it launched achieved a meta of 96/94% on Consoles/PC though, it is generally heralded as a masterpiece of gaming.
The New Order Rated 79/81% in the same fields and I don't imagine there is more than a handful of people that feel the game is in the same category of game changing games as Skyrim is.
I feel like they could easily port the 7th gen version to Switch and achieve 60 fps. They couldn't sell it for full price though, maybe $30 - 40.
Yeah, cool as it would be the game is quite old. And not old enough to warrant remastering or re releasing just old.
I'm fine with this, I already own New Order on the 360 and I'd rather Panic Button focus their efforts on newer games instead of ones from 4 years ago
Yeah indeed Curl, not to mention that when I got this for the X360 recently I think I paid about €5 for it or less, if people were offered the ability to buy it on the Switch again for full retail I wouldn't imagine they would be jumping at the chance.
garbage game anyway
