Capcom to Release Three Major Unannounced Games Within Next 12 Months - News

Looking through Capcom's plans for the coming year, Videogamer has discovered that the company has three currently unannounced titles that it is due to release before April 2017.

The titles in question aren't minor releases either - one of them is expected to shift 4 million units within the financial year, while the second title should hit between 2 and 4 million units, and the final one should be in the 2 million range.

One of the titles is a Monster Hunter game and, given Capcom's statement that was widely reported yesterday regarding a 'full-scale offensive' for Resident Evil this year, it's probably safe to say at least one of them is a Resident Evil game as well.

I couldn't care less about RE7, that IP is dead since RE5, or even RE4. But RE3 Remake would be amazing!

Resident Evil 7, Devil May Cry, and Dead Rising I bet. Last year we heard that there might be a new Dead Rising and Devil May Cry in development.

I don't doubt that at all, I'm just thinking that a games company the size of Capcom should be expected to announce 3 'big' games, so this shouldn't be any sort of surprise.

MH Stories, RE7 and maybe Remake2?

MH stories is not one of them. Its mentioned in the domestic market oriented titles based on existing IP. So, its not gonna see localisation aswell most probably. Its something like MH5.

I think one of them will be Resident Evil Revelations 3, and possibly HD remakes of the first 3 in the series.

That's a bingo!

I wouldn't mind a new Onimusha, Okami or Dino Crisis but a new Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and Dead Rising is the reality.

Personally, I'm hyped for a new multiplat Dead Rising :D
