Assassin's Creed Syndicate to Have Microtransactions, '100% Optional' - News

Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed Syndicate will have microtransactions, however they will be optional and not required to get items.

"Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will include paid options to save time and accelerate progress," development director Francois Pelland told IGN. "The model for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is quite similar to Black Flag, allowing players who do not have time to fully explore our huge game world to still be able to eventually acquire the game’s most powerful gear as well as other items."

"Rest assured, all of AC Syndicate’s content is available without paying anything additional and the game has been balanced such that microtransactions are 100% optional."

Assassin's Creed Syndicate will release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on 23rd October, and on Windows PC on 19th November.

And on top of that it will be another broken game with a day one patch that isnt even resolving the issued. Mark my words guys. I have finished unity a month ago and the beautifull assassins creed story from the desmon times to now has become dramatic. I found myself playing the game just because i always did. But now slowly im getting awake and see that this shit is becoming so mediocre. Unity was in a city no car no horse no kite or anything. It was basically watchdogs minus hacking. So what do we have now? Micro transactions dlc's broken game and a day one patch. And mark my words a bold story which is even more stupid then unity. I love to be proven otherwise. I dont think so

Sigh. It appears Ubisoft haven't learned their lesson from Unity. Can't say I'm surprized - just disappointed.
