Mortal Kombat X Delayed on PS360, Jason Voorhees Pack Announced - News

Two separate pieces of Mortal Kombat X news have surfaced today.

We'll start with the bad news - Mortal Kombat X has been delayed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Originally this version - which is being handled by High Voltage Software - had been expected to launch day and date alongside the version for 'next gen' platforms, but will now release sometime this summer instead.

The second piece of news concerns the 'Kombat Pack', which will grant players access to four additional playable characters that are still in development, including Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees. The other three characters consist of two 'Klassic Kombatants' and another 'special guest' character.

The Kombat Pack will also come with a 'Samurai Pack', which contains three new character skins: Ronin Kenshi, Samurai Shinnok and Jingu Kitana, as well as an accompanying skin pack for each playable character.

This DLC is included with all Premium Editions of the game, or can be purchased separately for $29.99/£24.99.
