Industry Veterans Open New Indie Studio Shiro Games - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 16 October 2012 / 6,568 ViewsSebastien Vidal, the former COO of NCsoft Europe, along with Nicolas Cannasse, has formed a new independent studio, called Shiro Games. The studio will focus on developing online PC games, as well as tablet games. Cannasse will serve as the technical expertise to the company as it's CTO.
"Creating a new studio is a great opportunity to get the gaming values we believe in into the hands of gamers all over the world: instant and long term fun, depth of gameplay and ease of access," said Sebastien Vidal.
Shiro Games is currently developing two projects. The main project is codenamed Project Z and is a "cooperative online action adventure game scheduled for Autumn-Winter 2013." The other project is the "indie influenced Evoland HD, based on this summer's Ludum Dare competition winner Evoland by Nicolas Cannasse."
