Dissidia Final Fantasy Is Getting a PSP Sequel - News
by VGChartz Staff , posted on 07 September 2010 / 2,803 ViewsJapanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump has just revealed that a sequel to the beloved PSP fighter Dissidia Final Fantasy is in the works. Dubbed Dissidia Duodecim Final Fantasy, the game is set to be released in 2011. Jump also confirms that Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning and Final Fantasy IV's Kain will be playable characters.
DDFF may be the mystery game that Tetsuya Nomura hinted earlier today would be playable at the Tokyo Game Show, so we'll be sure to know more soon.
In related news, Jump also revealed that Lightning will be in The 3rd Birthday, the new PSP Parasite Eve game, in some shape or form. Besides that, not much is known about either of these games, really. Is more Lightning what we need? Are cameos worth getting excited over? Will this new Dissidia fix the flaws of its predecessor? Stay tuned.

Hopefully it has a better story line than the last one. I actually didn't mind the gameplay. To be honest though, I'd rather see this on a home console for easier multiplayer. Maybe even 4-Players simultaneous?! =}
