I am actually kind of excited about this. In my opinion, I think they are doing this as an experiment to see how viable this could be on future consoles. As mentioned earlier all the games are kind of old so I am sure they don't expect to sell a lot, but they will be able to establish some data. Microsoft has a deal of the week program now on XBox Live, how long until one of these games is a deal of the week? They put it out there for a couple months, see how games sell, then randomly drop the prices as deals to see what prices make people buy. This will be a much bigger feature in future generations, the 360 is just the guinea pig.

this seems like a crazy idea, not sure how anyone would be able to fit this onto their hard drive with the amount of stuff already thrown onto my hard drive as it is.lol

I'm not huge into digital distribution, but can anyone explain why they are demanding such high prices for these games, if they are in fact cheaper to buy on disc? Are they that concerned about piracy? Seems like they'd be a lot cheaper without the costs of the physical media and the marketing etc.

I just picked up Ridge Racer 6 used for $5.99 at Gamestop. Considering It's also US only I don't see many copies getting bought at all. Most of those games be bought dirt cheap, and the only one I'll consider buying is Viva Pinata TIP if It's $10 or less.

Their is something I read a lot on forums about this and that is 'It is kind of expensive' I have to agree the most games if not all can you find cheaper.

I have every game on that list except for Meet The Robinsons, Viva Pinata and Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise. those games were kind of kiddy, so that's why I don't own them.

Nice list of games, but with this I guess MS is kind of pushing new consumers to soon buy the Xbox360 Elite eh?
