
Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation Delayed to July - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 30 May 2019 / 1,801 ViewsPublisher Idea Factory International has delayed the release of Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation for the PlayStation 4 in North America to July 23 and in Europe to July 26, and for Windows PC via Steam until July 23.
Here is an overview of the game:
A brand new character named Rio appears, who calls Shido “Papa” and is searching for the “most important thing.”
After having escaped nearly being trapped in a virtual reality, Shido is afflicted by a strange feeling.
A disturbance in the world in which he lives. Someone is out there… He cannot shake the helpless, uncomfortable feeling.
This strange feeling persists… A new paradise. A girl who has the same last name as Rinne──Rio Sonogami. The girl, along with Marina… for the sake of everyone’s happiness, they wander in search of “the most important thing.”

I do hope IF does these simultaneous releases to cut the PS4 sales as much as possible.
It's a VN, so from the start Ps4 sales weren't going to be that good. I would have waited for the July PC release date regardless.
