Hitman: HD Trilogy Announced by Square Enix - News
by Jake Weston , posted on 14 December 2012 / 2,549 ViewsHot off the success of Hitman: Absolution, Square Enix has announced the Hitman: HD Trilogy, which packages Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money all in one, HD-remastered package (though it's worth noting Hitman: Blood Money was already an Xbox 360 title).
The collection will cost about $40 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, with Xbox 360 owners having the option of purchasing a premium edition which includes an art book.
It's a bit of a bummer that the collection doesn't include the first entry in the series, Hitman: Codename 47, though understandable since it was a PC exclusive and incredibly different from later entries in the series.
Square Enix gave no official release date for the trilogy, other than stating it will come out "early next year".
