Lego Marvel Super Heroes Revealed

Lego Marvel Super Heroes Revealed - News

TT Games has made a name for itself in the last few years with its excellent Lego-themed adaptations of popular properties, such as Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman, The Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter. Today, TT Games has shown they are continuing their tradition, by announcing Lego Marvel Superheroes, featuring Marvel Comics heroes such as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and The Avengers.

What's most interesting about this reveal is that developer TT Games is owned by Warner Bros., who also owns DC Comics (Batman, Superman), while Marvel is owned by Disney, a direct competitor to Warner Bros. As such, many thought a Lego Marvel crossover would be impossible. Then again, TT Games had previously made an adaptation of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, also owned by Disney, so I guess nothing is impossible.

I've never been super interested in the Lego games, but Lego Marvel Super Heroes has peaked my interest, at least for introducing the possibility of a "Lego Marvel vs. DC" sort of game in the future. One can dream.
