Too Human Taken Down from Xbox Marketplace - News

Hey guys, remember last year's lawsuit between Silicon Knights and Epic Games concerning Too Human, where the judge ruled that Silicon Knights must recall and destroy all unsold copies of the game? Well, that ruling extended to the Xbox Live Marketplace today, where Too Human has been pulled from the service.

Too human

Not only is the game and its demo pulled down, but also Too Human themes and gamer pictures (which is interesting, concerning the lawsuit was over use of the Unreal Engine, not the Too Human intellectual property). Thanfully, those who already downloaded the game will still have access to it as long as its on their harddrive.

Too Human was met with mixed to negative critical reception when it was released in 2008, but it's a shame that it's come down to this. To me, the legal issues surrounding game raises some interesting questions about game's status as art vs. pieces of software. Either way, I have a feeling this game's value is going to up quite a bit in the near future.
