The 21st of May is when Microsoft look set reveal their next console. The following invites are being sent out to major media outlets:
The reveal will be streamed live on Xbox.com, Xbox Live, Spike TV, GT, and no doubt plenty of websites to boot. It looks like we'll finally be able to stop speculating about Microsoft's intentions towards online-only and used games in just under a month's time. Major Nelson posted the following on his blog:
"On that day, we’ll share our vision for Xbox, and give you a real taste of the future. Then, 19-days later at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, we’ll continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games.
We are thrilled to pull back the curtain and reveal what we’ve been working on."
