The Xbox One's release date has been set for November 22nd in 13 countries.

After a long wait as gamers looked on with bated breath, Microsoft's Yusuf Mehdi has finally announced the day of their Xbox One Console release in its 13 launch territories, and that date is November 22nd 2013! This is one week later than Sony's North American PlayStation 4 launch on November 15th, but one week before its European launch on November 29th. Hopefully this strategy will pan out for Microsoft, who have been under scrutiny for waiting so long to announce the release date.

The Xbox One will be launching in 13 territories worldwide: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and, of course, USA. The system will be launching with the following games:
