Microsoft has announced a stereo headset and stereo headset adapter for the Xbox One, according to Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb's blog.

I can hear and talk to you......if I use this.

The stereo headset "pairs a premium, full-range (20Hz – 20kHz) audio experience with a unidirectional microphone taking advantage of Xbox One’s Skype-powered chat audio codec," wrote Hryb. The headset does not use batteries - it is instead powered by the Xbox One controller. It also comes with the Stereo Headset adapter, which can change the game audio and chat audio volume, the master volume, and mute the microphone.

The stereo headset + adapter will cost $79.99 USD, while those who already have a headset can purchase the headset adapter separately for $24.99 USD. Both will be available in March in Xbox One markets.

No other countries were mentioned in the announcement.
