Destiny Alpha Extended - News

It seems that although PS4 players that pre-ordered Destiny were only promised a single weekend to play the alpha of Bungie's latest FPS, extra time has been given to players whilst Bungie tests their systems.
This extra playtime comes with a risk though, with Bungie tweeting:
"Yup. Alpha still works. Now, we're gonna test it in expert mode. If you're still playing, pardon our dust. This is for the Beta!"
Players are warned that the servers will be going down and coming back up randomly throughout today, with potential for data loss.Bungie hasn't said when the Alpha will end, but the Beta is expecting to begin on PS4 and PS3 this July 17th, with it coming to Xbox platforms at a later date.
Destiny is set for release on September 9th.
