At the current 2013 pace, the PS3 will end up surpassing the Wii in TOTAL SALES in only 3 more years. Considering how long the PS2 was on the marketing making sales before Sony pulled support for it, you can expect that the PS3 probably has quite some time left. It won't be able to pass the mark in 3 years but in 6 years? Maybe. How interesting. Looks like another terrifically bad year for Nintendo where fanboys blindly deny the truth and end up crying at the income statements.
PS3 sales are dropping more dramatically than PS2 sales were. It's all downhill from 2015 onwards. Pretty difficult to reach 100 million
Who would imagine the Wii would end up with only 38% of market share? I wonder which twists and turns this 8th generation will experience. Predicting the ultimate numbers for a generation is a hard task, although I think Sony has everything to win this time around.
Much good Wii U!
Are you out of your mind? Is that sarcasm? Do you call a sub 15% market share in 2014 "much good"? At this rate the Wii U won't even sell 2M units in 2014. In pace to be a terrific failure.
I'm not sure if Vita will be able to stay up YOY...
