For first 2/3 year maybe XO will sold more of 360, but on the end of gen X360 will sold much more.
I think XO will sold 50,000,000, versus 85,000,000 of X360(for now 81,000,000)

I hate Xbox but I think the Xbox one will eventually sell more than the xbox 360. I could be wrong and kind of hope I am. People should send a loud and clear message to microsoft that we won't stand for their worthless hardware and services. Just saying $500 for inferior hardware and $60/yr for a worthless subscription service isn't the way to go. They paywall everything behind xbox live so all you can do is play single player games or watch disk based movies without paying for XBL. I know games with gold is coming to Xbox one so hopefully one of my grips about them will be over after that (although so far GWG is laughably inferior to PS+).

My only other gripe is that xbox accessories are overpriced. With XO I'm mainly talking about the controller. $60 yet lacks blue tooth, gyroscope, batteries, touch pad, speaker & light bar. Then $25 for battery pack making each $85 and lacking all those features Nintendo and PlayStation have and Sony sells their all inclusive for $60 no hidden fees. Then there's the adapter too.

XBOX ONE will never sell as the 360, it was cheaper, had a year ahead, it was more powerful, and with the kinect has attracted if more than 20,000,000 of casual...

Literally no one expected the Kinect boost in the beginning of 360's life. We dont know what casual attraction is going to come to Xbox One in 4 or 5 years.

XB1 could go either way. Lets see if 360 can get a lead at the 1 year mark with Gears of War pushing systems.

"The gap increased by 94,991 units in favor of the Xbox 360." Wrong. Gap increased in favor of the Xbox One...

Not bad. MS just needs to sell 76 million more X1 consoles in 8 years for it to be considered a success.

Not impressive. 360 year one sales were low, even for the 360. Except for the great launch XB1 can't seem to outsell the 360. That means that XB1 might end up with 80 million where PS4 will be closer to 150 million (PS2 levels).

I think Xb one will outsell 360 every year for at least the first 4 full years. 360 was only a moderate seller until Kinect came along so it should not be difficult for Xb one to outsell 360 those years. But I don't see Xb one getting a mid/late cycle Kinect equivalent mega boost, and because of that I expect Xb one's 5th and 6 years to be far lower than 360 and for the generation to consequently not go beyond 6 full years, Which means Xb one will end up selling less over all.

Funny how Microsoft just said they sold 5 million, yet here still has a significantly lower number.

Microsoft did not say they "sold" they said they had "shipped" which is why VG's numbers report the XB1 as 4.3 million "sold".
