I don't think MS can catch up to Wii U until December. Or October at the earliest. Xbone is basically just about done, finished.

I'm curious to see what the gap at the end of June.

After the effect of Titanfall I don't think the One will catch wii u so soon. This will take time if will ever happen.

y2jarmyofficial (on 18 April 2014)

By not so soon if you mean this month then no, by the end of this year then yes it will happen

ysjarmy@No there is a good chance it won't ever happen because if Mario Kart and Smash make the Wii U sales even a little then it wont ever happen.

End of this year? I highly doubt that. What does XB1 have that will boost it more then Mario Kart/Smash Bros will boost the WiiU?

Seriously?
Titanfall ia a SOLE Killer up of XO for this year, Project Spark, Kinect Sport ecc is gift flop announced, and Halo and Quantum Break coming in 2015, MABE 2016!
For Wii U coming Mario Kart, Bayonetta2, Hyrule Warriors, and more games annunced in E3, yes, because games that M$ announcing at E3 ALWAYS makes them leave after 1/2 years, not like Nintendo...
XBOX ONE MUST sold 45,000 for outsell Wii U in this year, and this is IMPOSSIBLE.
XO will outsell Wii U not before 2016, and for me only in 2017.

Common Nintendo! Hold 2nd! Mario Kart!!!

TheLegendaryWolf (on 18 April 2014)

With Mario Kart 8 coming in May 30, the gap will grow in favor of the Wii U.

ganoncrotch (on 20 April 2014)

Just a real weird one that the 3ds gets Smash bros first and they didn't want to give the Wii-U the first dibs on the sales of that.

I have a bet with an old xbox loving friend of mine. My bet is that Xbox one can't beat PS4 in the US within the next 6 months. If I lose I have to change my disqus Avatar for a week and can't bad mouth xbox for that week. Well that' aint gonna happen anyways.

ganoncrotch (on 20 April 2014)

would it really take you losing a bet to not trash talk a console for a whole week?

I wonder if XOne can catch up before Smash Brothers. This is really, Nintendo's LAST CHANCE, to become somewhat relevant.

CommonNinja (on 18 April 2014)

Will be interesting to see just how much good Mario Kart, and SSB will do for the Wii U, and whether or not it will sell more Wii Us than Titanfall sold X1s.
