One thing is becoming abundantly clear even early on. Xbox cannot compete in Europe.

So for this year, PS3 > X360 + Wii, PS4 > XB1+ WiiU before Japan launch, and Vita has improved YoY. Nice one Sony.

At this rate, PS3 will only sell 4.5 million units at best. 7th gen is finally dead. However 51% marketshare for PS4......looks like Sony started off well.

Wow, it's already shaping up to be exactly as I had estimated between PS4 and XB1. My lifetime estimates globally are XB1 : Around 24-33% vs PS4 : Around 67-76% ...right now, XB1 : Around 40% vs PS4 : Around 60% overall, which is heavily affected by supply issues, price insensitive early buyers etc...But in 2014 alone, the market shares : XB1 : Around 36% vs PS4 : Around 64%, even before the Japanese release and the supplies were ironed out. So, I expect it to change in favor of PS4 5-10 % further points...
