Will only get bigger over time. I predict that in NA the X1 will eventually take the lead, but with Europe and Japan the PS4 will dominate by a big margin worldwide.

PS4 could even out in NA. XBO is catching up now yes, but PS4 is out of stock at the moment. Sure Titanfall and Halo will help the XBO, but InFamous and Uncharted will help the PS4 the same.

I'm pretty sure Xbox one won't catch up to PS4 in worldwide sales. In USA the PS4 and Xbox one will probably be really close, but PS4 will sell more worldwide.

The gap in absolute numbers will widen for sure, BUT it will also widen ratio wise, because PS4 will win NA as well. Americans are not very brand-loyal but very price-sensitive, so between two consoles which are perceived to be of comparable value, the cheaper one will always win, which is the PS4. So, on a global scale, on the average, expect a ratio greater than 2-to-1 in favor of PS4.
