This is the first month that the Xbox One and it has taken an early lead on its predecessor when you align the launches. The Xbox One sold 1,224,352 more units in its first month than the Xbox 360 did. The Xbox One sold 1,575,199 units in its first month, while the Xbox 360 sold just 350,847 units.
Both consoles launched in November. The Xbox 360 launched in November 2005, while the Xbox One launched in November 2013.
