Ignition Co-Founder Opens New Mobile Studio - News

Ignition co-founder Ajay Chadha has formed a new mobile studio, called Balloon 27. The studio is currently developing four games and its first game, Hill Bill, will be released in July for iOS and Android.The studio called the title an "Excitebike-meets-Tony Hawk sidescroller."

"We are proud to announce the formation of indie development and publishing outfit, B27," said Chadha in a statement. "Our first release, Hill Bill is inspired by Evel Knievel and the simple, yet intuitive, principles of game design. I believe users will be quickly captivated by our striking visuals and intuitive gameplay."

Chadha founded Ignition in 2002 and left in 2010 after it was acquired by Indian media giant UTV Software Communications. Balloon 27 is Chadha's return to the gaming industry after three years.
