Overview
There are is one game in the top 20 to be in its final week before launch, Borderlands 2 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. As a reminder the Pro data is back up, which means that I am taking requests again for games outside the top 20.
The top seven games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, up from six last week, and the top 11 has 100,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week. Five games added 20,000 or more, up from four last week and nine added 10,000 or more, the same as last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch
Borderlands 2 (X360) added 79,456 pre-orders for a grand total of 494,803. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 600,000 to 700,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 2.0 million and 2.2 million units lifetime.

Borderlands 2 (PS3) added 49,467 pre-orders for a grand total of 218,706. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 275,000 to 350,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 0.9 million and 1.1 million units lifetime.
- Borderlands (PS3, 2009) – 60,777 week one USA, 899,267 to date
Borderlands 2 (PC) added 5,994 pre-orders for a grand total of 86,575. Expect first week sales in the USA at retail to be in the 100,000 to 125,000 unit range. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 and 600,000 units lifetime.
Major Performers – Week Ending September 22
Madden NFL 13 (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 55,000 units in its fourth week on sale. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 40,000 in its fourth week.
NHL 13 (X360) sales are expected to drop to around 20,000 units in its second week on sales. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 12,000 in its second week.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3) sales are expected to drop to around 18,000 units in its second week on sale. The Xbox 360 version is expected to drop to around 15,000 units.
Overall hardware sales are expected to remain relatively flat compared to the previous week.
Other Hot Games
Halo 4 (X360) has added 24,523 pre-orders, down from 26,753 last week, for a total of 665,875. The game is down to 137,000 pre-orders ahead of Halo: Reach during the same number of weeks before release. The game is eight weeks away from launch in the USA, November 6, 2012.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II (X360) added 30,228 pre-orders, down from 60,111 last week, for a total of 752,034. The game is 288,000 pre-orders behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (X360) during the same number of weeks before release. The game is nine weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3) added 15,538 pre-orders, down from 24,331 last week, for a total of 458,887. The game is 64,000 pre-orders ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3). The game is nine weeks away from launch in the USA, November 13, 2012.
Notable mentions: Assassin’s Creed III (X360) added 12,640 pre-orders for a total of 370,404. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria (PC) added 10,700 pre-orders for a total of 148,889. Pokémon Black / White Version 2 (DS) added 13,546 pre-orders for a total of 113,839.
Requests: Forza: Horizon (X360) added 3,871 pre-orders for a total of 32,676. Assassin’s Creed: Liberation (PSV) added 2,594 pre-orders for a total of 25,049. New Super Mario Bros. U (WiiU) just entered the chart this week with 1,047 pre-orders.

combined PS360 Black Ops 2 pre-orders drop 98k behind MW3, increasing the gap to 224k, from 126k. No word on how well the Wii U version is doing, but it probably won't be enough to make up for the gap.
God Eater released in North America a long while back, you should check that (along with Pokemon Conquest!)
