Hank Chien Retains Donkey Kong Title - News

New Jersey saw an epic battle this past Saturday and Sunday when Hank Chien, scored 994,400 points on Donkey Kong's 'kill screen' in a tournament called the 'Kong-Off' featuring Donkey Kong's best players.
Hank Chien is a plastic surgeon operating in the Queens, NY area and holds the Guiness Book of Records title for highest score in Donkey Kong with 1,090,400 points. He is also the subject of a documentary called Doctor Kong which will be released soon. Citing as inspiration for his interest in Donkey Kong is another documentary film called "King of Kong" released in 2007.
Chien won $1,000 for his achievement at the tournament.
"It's something to add to my resume and it's something I can be proud of," said Chien who holds a computer science and mathematics degree from Harvard University and is a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
