Ever wondered what character is used the most in Super Street Fighter IV? Even if you have, it's a moot question because everybody knows it's Ryu. But now, we have confirmation - the site EventHubs did a study by analyzing over 4000 matches, and seeing what characters are used the most.

Now, of course, this doesn't necssarily show accurately who is used the most since the only way to determine that would be to look at all the matches ever played, but it does show pretty accurately what you should be expecting when playing ranked matches online. Find the full list below.

This shows that online ranked matches certainly aren't comparable to tournament matches, where both C. Viper and more particularly Rufus are a lot more common than many other characters in the game. The more you know.

I'm surprised Cody is #12. He's my fav character on SSF4 but I never knew he was like that popular.

I really like ChunLi to; although I was much better at her in the Alpha series.

I got so tired of always seeing Ryu and Ken that I started using Fei Long. He can beat anybody except E. Honda when I use him. Every now and then, somebody will pop up with Rufus or Hakan and beat me senseless, though! Cammy, Blanka, E. Honda, and Chun Li (I suck as Chun Li in SSF4 but I was awesome with her in SF2) are my other go to guys.

And everythime I see Ryu and Ken, I'm tempted to turn my Xbox off. I just beat the hell out of them to encourage people to use somebody else. If there was a way to block those two (and Akuma), I'd do it!

When I was young, I used to play as Ryu or E.Honda on street fighter 2. Since then I've become more of a Chun-Li fan. Even though I'm probably better with the hadou users. The hadou users are pretty simple characters making them much easier to learn more quickly. Other characters take a bit more time and practice to get good with. That is my opinion at least.

I'm one of the few whose playing with rufus so it seems ^^. Sagat was definitely the most played character with SFIV, don't have statistics though. Strange only 2,83% only plays with him now.
